Episode 158 - 50 years ago the Edmund Fitzgerald sank just 17 miles off the coast of Whitefish Bay during a November storm on Lake Superior. 29 lives were lost aboard one of the greatest freighters to sail the Great Lakes. 50 years later the mystery of the ship's sinking still makes headlines and fascinates many. To commemorate the anniversary, we revisit the story of that fateful day and discuss why the legend still lives on.
