DISCOVERING | Dog Sledding in the U.P.

Episode 62 - I visited Nature's Kennel in McMillan for a winter adventure unlike any other - learning how to drive and care for your own dog sled team! The kennel is run by champion mushers Ed and Tasha Stielstra. They provide a variety of winter adventures from day trips up to 20 miles, to overnight excursions.

Then we venture to the Keweenaw Peninsula and check out the Maasto Hiihto & Churning Rapids Trails for winter silent sports enthusiasts.

These are a couple oldies but goodies from a few years back and I'm hoping we have enough snow soon for people to get out and enjoy.
