2023 Great Lakes Fishing Decree Interview

My full interview with Dave Caraffino, Tribal Coordination Unit Manager for the Michigan DNR, about the 2023 Great Lakes Fishing Decree that was signed by U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney on August 24, 2023. This replaces the tribal and state Great Lakes fishing agreement from 2000. We talk about what the decree is, what changes have been made from the 2000 decree, harvest limits, gill nets, and more. For the sake of time and the "Discovering" program we focused on the waters of the Upper Peninsula.
