And we learn that the Bald Eagle population took a severe hit in Michigan during the 2022 avian influenza outbreak, with a 40% statewide loss. I talked to the lead investigator of the Michigan Bald Eagle Project, Dr. Bill Bowerman.

And we finally have enough SNOW to run a sled dog race! After 2 years of cancellations, the Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog race is back.
