Michigan DNR 2022 Deer Harvest Report | Interview with the DNR

I talked to Chad Stewart of the Michigan DNR Wildlife Division about the preliminary results of the 2022 deer harvest in the U.P. and the new mandatory deer harvest reporting. We spent 30 minutes talking about the report, hunter compliance, numbers, how the MI-DNR can use these numbers to better manage deer, and how unsuccessful hunters can also provide feedback. Plus I had Chad help me understand the antlerless permit system in the U.P.
